The Salome Alt seminar room is located on the top floor of the castle and offers a wonderful view over Lake Constance. The castle’s visible historic roof structure gives this room its special atmosphere.
In addition to the seminar room, a foyer with comfortable seating for breaks or group work is included in the price.
Namesake
Salome Alt, the room’s namesake, was the lover of Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau, who later became Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg. According to tradition, the two spent 16 summers together at Schloss Hofen. Historians disagree about exactly how many children Salome and Wolf Dietrich had. However, it is said to have been at least 13.
