The Hans Werner seminar room is located on the second floor and is one of the large seminar rooms at the head of the castle. It is therefore particularly well suited for larger events and working in multiple teams.
The ceiling of this seminar room is a reconstruction of the historic coffered ceiling. The light fixtures are a custom design by architect Bernhard Marte.
This seminar room also includes a large foyer with tables and chairs, which is ideal for undisturbed group work and coffee breaks.
Namesake
Hans Werner IV was the only son of Hans Gaudenz the Younger. After his father’s death in 1608, he became heir to the Hofen fief. Under Hans Werner, the construction of Schloss Hofen was completed in 1616 after more than 30 years.
