From Austria and Switzerland:
Take the Rheintalautobahn A14 towards Germany through the Pfänder Tunnel, then take the Lochau-Hörbranz exit and turn left towards Lochau. At the OMV gas station (after approx. 800 meters), turn left and follow the road towards Eichenberg. After approx. 900 meters you will reach SCHLOSS HOFEN.
From Germany:
You do not need a toll sticker (vignette) for the journey via the A96 motorway to Schloss Hofen. You can take the very first exit, Lochau-Hörbranz (before the Pfänder Tunnel). Turn left towards Lochau and drive on the L1 (Hofriedenstraße) to the OMV gas station. Turn left there and follow the road towards Eichenberg. After approx. 900 meters you will reach SCHLOSS HOFEN.
Ample free private parking is available directly at the castle. Charging facilities for electric cars are available.

From Germany, take the S-Bahn from Lindau station to Bregenz station and then take the bus (direction Hörbranz, via “Hofen, Brantmann”, stop Lochau Hofen, 5-minute walk) to Lochau. Alternatively, Schloss Hofen is easily accessible from Bregenz station by taxi (5 km). If you get off at Lochau station, Schloss Hofen can be reached on foot in approx. 20 minutes (Note: there are no taxis available there!)
Zurich Airport (CH): Train connection to Bregenz (approx. 2 hours)
Altenrhein Airport (CH): Shuttle bus provided by People’s Viennaline to Bregenz station
Friedrichshafen Airport (D): Train connection to Lindau (D) or Bregenz (approx. 1 hour)
