The Schloss Hofen Advent celebrated its 30th anniversary on December 14, 2025, in the historic atmosphere of the Wolf-Dietrich-Saal at Schloss Hofen in Lochau.
Musician Alexander Swete delighted the audience with masterful guitar sounds, and actress Renate Bauer recited selected contemplative and humorous texts by Karl Heinrich Waggerl and other writers.
The Schloss Hofen Advent began in 1993 with radio presenter Dietlind Haug. Alexander Swete has been involved since the very beginning. Both artists, who have performed together on this stage for many years, once again presented a harmonious and wonderful program. Among the guests were numerous loyal listeners who have been attending this special pre-Christmas event for many years. The fact that both sessions on this day were sold out within a very short time is a testament to the large fan base and the high quality of the performances.
The Schloss Hofen Advent was organized by the Lochau Cultural Committee under the leadership of Chairwoman Petra Rührnschopf. The beautiful Wolf-Dietrich-Saal was graciously provided by Schloss Hofen under Director Peter Vogler – a perfect setting for this festive occasion.
